'Twas a grand time that everybody had/ celebrating the departure of ol' 2005/ there was foosbal, sing-a-long and mahjong/ while a ballroom "class" had others dance along/ the home theater room had two screenings/ "Fantastic Four" and "War of the Worids" were on for viewing/ Dante and Lydia spared nothing/ making sure their guests had everything/ food was a plenty being pot luck/ Filipino dishes was thought up/ at the stroke of 12:00 everybody shouted "Happy New Year"/ hugs and greetings were given for good cheer/ no loud bangs or firecrackers/ just laughters and noisemakers/ bidding 2005 farewell and hoping that 2006 will be swell.
