Week Past 01/16-22
Still working overnight. Monday night driving was a pain. It snowed early evening and the roads were not plowed. My partner at work called in so I did not accomplish much at work. They also took the scissor jack thingy that night.
Saturday was lunch at Cam Rahn Bay Resto with Jay-Jovi-Jenna and Keith-Lynette. Then met with Jerry B to check out model homes. Lot prices have gone crazy ranging from $160G to $220G. When we bought ours five years ago it was in the vicinity of $30Gs. We checked out one of the model homes tagged for $1.3M, it was ooohhhsuumm. Got to win the lottery.
Congratulations to Manny Pacquiao!!! Knocking out Mexico's Erik Morales in the 10th round of their super featherweight non title bout Saturday at Las Vegas. He's $2M richer. He's' the Man. Missed watching the fight though.. aurrrggghhh ;(
Sunday after mass was buffet at Chart House with Jay-Jovi-Jenna and Ross-Lali-kids. Ross was "persuaded" to pick up the tab. Cora and I went to Shakopee afterwards to check out Winwood's housing project. There's a lot overlooking a pond and wetlands with a trail. Nice view. My concern is it's a mix-use community with commercial area along it's fringes, townhomes and detached townhouses in another area. Resale value might be affected as mentioned by one realtor. Need a second opinion.
