"Week Past 10/15-10/21/07"
I got nailed, twice. Mon 10/15 I took my car for a change oil. I noticed for the past couple of weeks that my left rear tire must be leaking air. I have to pump air into it at least once every two weeks than lately every week. So I requested the attendant to have it checked. Later he informed me that there's a nail in my tire and it'll cost me so much for the repair. I said go ahead to get it done with. Then I realized on my way home that I might have gotten the repair at no cost in our store. Sure enough it's free when I asked the following day. Nailed twice: tire and the repair fee.
Mon 10/15 I drove W to the airport for her 9:00 pm flight to Arkansas for a business trip. She's meeting with two her colleagues (Beng and Lucy) at the airport who'll be flying in from Portland. So I have the house again to myself until Thu. Aaaaah... solitude.
Sat 10/20 was different. W arrived Fri 10/19 with Beng. They tendered a welcome party for her at home Sat so she can meet the staff and see for herself how they are doing. It was the usual sing-a-long after dinner. There are lots of new faces. Young kids. No pics this time. I just came from work and attended the Saturday mass. I was tired. After eating I just went up to our room, watched TV and dozed off.
"I'm wiping myself now", that's what I heard as I was taking a leak in the restroom. This guy inside one of the cubicles was talking to somebody on his cellphone. Can't you tone it down. You don't have to announce to the whole world that you're done and wiping your a...who were you talking to anyway...it was a Sun 10/21 at work. Sunday,,,wish I was home.
