Week Past 01/28-02/03/08
Sat 02/02 was Groundhog Day . I didn't follow the news so I don't know if the groundhog did not see its shadow meaning winter will end soon. Regardless we're still in the negative temps. This I think is the winter where we have the longest snap of negative temps. Weathermen say it's normal that's why MN is also sometimes referred to as the "Icebox" state. They say we were just spoiled these past years because of the "mild" winters. We were given a respite again on Mon 01/28 when the temp hits the 40's. A heat wave. But then on Tue 01/29 it went down to a -10 and on Wed 01/30 to a -14. What a swing.
